Back 2 is one of the leading suppliers of ergonomic chairs within the UK, operating in London for over 35 years and currently working from a showroom in Islington. Back2 is known for having a large volume of ergonomic chairs in stock, whilst also offering free ergonomic advice, consultation, assessments, and set-up from a DSE professional.
Objectives.
Back 2 contacted Ad Lab to help with a full site migration from Magento 1 to the latest version of Magento 2. The client requested a bespoke mobile and desktop design for the leading pages, and due to time constraints needed the website complete within 3 months.
A key objective was to ensure the website was built visible for search from the ground up, with optimised page titles, h1 headings, URL structures and meta descriptions. Strong attention to website load speeds, performance, and sitewide usability. Back2 also wanted the new website to include all customer, order and product data from the M1 store.
Results.
Ad Lab successfully designed and developed a bespoke Magento 2 store within 3 months. Plus, by utilising the latest features of Magento’s caching system alongside working through Google’s core web vitals, the website’s organic traffic increased by 22% compared with the same period the previous year.
Today, the website has gone on from strength to strength, with further help improving onsite relevancy, accessibility, usability, and overall site performance.
After being let down from our previous developers, Ad Lab came onboard and met all expectations by completing the website within the proposed timeframe.
