Business Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced business development manager to generate new business opportunities with potential clients, develop relationships with key decision makers, help with internal sale systems and processes, and manage certain key accounts.

Key responsibilities.

  • Build a strong pipeline of relevant opportunities to deliver against sales targets
  • Generate qualified leads
  • Build and maintain an in-depth understanding of our services by working closely with the directors
  • Competitor mapping
  • Negotiating with clients and agencies
  • Identifying and researching new growth areas
  • Researching and canvassing for leads using online search facilities, social media and competitor information
  • Ensuring all sales administration is completed and databases updated
  • Knowledge of Xero Accounting and Pipedrive

Essential skills.

  • Experience within a similar BDM role
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, website design and e-commerce
  • Excellent presentation and proposal writing skills
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate with senior staff
  • Proven ability to identify and develop new business
  • Understanding of sales metrics and measurement

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
